Most PPO insurance accepted, plus state plans
Most PPO dental insurance is accepted, including Delta Dental, along with Medi-Cal (Denti-Cal) and CalOptima. We bill your plan directly to maximize savings. We don't accept other HMO plans, and we never push treatment that isn't needed.

Full-mouth digital x-rays when needed, oral cancer screening, and a clear, honest treatment plan.
Cleanings & deep cleanings
Routine hygiene and periodontal (gum) therapy, gently done bedside or in a chair.
Fillings
Tooth-colored composite fillings only. Chipped, broken or decayed teeth repaired on the spot.

Caps and bridges to restore broken teeth and fill gaps — impressions taken at home.
Dentures, partials & flippers
New dentures, same-day dentures, at-home relines, sore-spot adjustments and all repairs.

We arrive and set up
Dr. Koo and an assistant bring portable x-ray, suction, lighting and every instrument needed — set up in about 10 minutes.
Treatment, then follow-up
Most care is completed in one visit. We coordinate with caregivers and nurses, and come back if anything needs a touch-up.

Dr. Koo Karimi, DDS
Dr. Karimi has spent more than a decade bringing complete dental care to people who can't easily get to an office — grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, and anyone whose life makes the waiting room impossible. Patients describe him the same way again and again: gentle, honest, and funny.
He pioneered the portable, in-home treatment model in Orange County and now teaches it statewide: Dr. Karimi is the only dentist in California approved by the California Dental Board to teach other dentists mobile care dentistry in continuing-education courses.

How much does a home visit cost?
Cost depends on the treatment needed. Our prices are very competitive, we bill your insurance to maximize savings, and we work with each family to get the best care at the lowest cost. You'll have a clear estimate before we come.
Do you take insurance?
Yes — most PPO dental insurance is accepted, including Delta Dental, along with Medi-Cal (Denti-Cal) and CalOptima state insurance. We do not accept other HMO plans. Our non-insurance pricing is kept low to help patients paying out of pocket.
Can you really treat someone who is bed-bound?
Yes. It's most of what we do. We bring portable x-ray, suction and lighting and work bedside, in a wheelchair, or in a recliner — whatever is most comfortable for the patient.
What if a specialist is needed?
Our implant specialist can come to you. For root canals or wisdom-tooth surgery, we arrange and provide transportation to our satellite offices in Orange County. Our doctors work there too, so you'll see familiar faces.
